TroFilms GmbH applying for DIN EN ISO 9001 certification

Georgensgmünd, 25 January 2019 – TroFilms GmbH, a medium-sized and globally operating specialist for high-quality special laminating films for the graphic arts industry based in Georgensgmünd, Germany, began preparations last summer for certification according to the DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. Right at the beginning of the new 2019 fiscal year, the planning committee met for the first meetings, for inventory analysis and for general project planning.

This analysis and planning work should be completed by the end of January and the integration process of the QM system should start. The successful certification is planned for summer 2019. 

Ralf Troyer, Managing Director of TroFilms GmbH, on the planned measure: "The decision to have us certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 was not really difficult for us. We have been producing high quality products since our company was founded in 2012, as entrepreneurial success is not possible without it. Managing and documenting this quality according to a new system should therefore not be a problem. Many of our major customers are also obliged in the long term to purchase exclusively from certified suppliers due to their own QM system. Of course, we also want to do our very best to meet this requirement." Ralf Troyer continues: "It goes without saying that the introduction of such a system is always a hard job. Existing documentation must be recorded, new documentation developed, work and process instructions written, suppliers evaluated, and employees trained. Since all this has to be done while our business is running and without negative influence on quality and capacity in production, management and logistics, we have deliberately planned sufficient time for a successful implementation.
